Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Ghost Buddy mobile application (the "Service") operated by Ghost Buddy ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Ghost Buddy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Ghost Buddy is a squash training application that provides:

• AI-powered player tracking and position detection using device camera
• Automated court detection using computer vision
• Voice-guided shot calling during training sessions
• Customizable training sessions with adjustable sets, shots, and rest periods
• Shot pattern selection (Random, Front V, Back V, Volleys, and more)
• Session history tracking and analytics
• Performance metrics and radar charts
• User profile management
• Premium features through Pro subscription

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must create an account to use certain features of the Service
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• One account per user; no account sharing

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Pro Subscription

Ghost Buddy offers premium features through a Pro subscription with the following options:

• Monthly Pro: Billed monthly
• Yearly Pro: Billed annually with savings

4.2 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings
• All purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system

4.3 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
• Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated
• Prices are subject to change with notice

4.4 Refunds

• Refund requests must be made through Apple's App Store
• We cannot directly process refunds for App Store purchases
• Refund policies are subject to Apple's terms and conditions

4.5 Free Features

Certain features are available for free, including:

• Basic training sessions
• Access to the most recent session history
• Basic performance tracking

4.6 Pro Features

Pro subscription unlocks:

• Full access to complete session history
• Advanced performance analytics
• Detailed radar charts and metrics
• Additional customization options

5. Camera Usage and Requirements

5.1 Camera Access

• Ghost Buddy requires camera access to function properly
• Camera is used for court detection and player position tracking
• All camera processing is performed locally on your device
• No video footage is recorded, stored, or transmitted

5.2 Device Requirements

• Device must have a functioning camera
• Sufficient lighting conditions required for optimal performance
• Clear view of the squash court required

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Interfere with other users' use of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent any security or access control mechanisms

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ghost Buddy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to your personal data, including:

• Session data and statistics
• Profile information
• Training history

7.3 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy
• You have the right to access, modify, or delete your data
• You can delete all session data through the Settings menu
• Session data is stored locally on your device
• Account information is stored securely using Firebase

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of results

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GHOST BUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Personal injury or property damage
• Errors or inaccuracies in tracking or analytics
• Interruptions or cessation of the Service

9.3 Training and Health Disclaimer

• Ghost Buddy is not a substitute for professional coaching or medical advice
• Consult with a physician before starting any exercise program
• Use the app at your own risk
• We are not responsible for any injuries sustained while using the Service

10. Termination

10.1 Your Rights

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting the app from your device
• Contacting us to request account deletion

10.2 Our Rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period
• We discontinue the Service

10.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• All provisions that should survive termination shall survive (e.g., intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability)
• You may lose access to your session history and analytics

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
• Change subscription prices with advance notice
• Add or remove features
• Update the app to fix bugs or improve performance

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the new Terms in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending you a notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage
• Apple App Store for payments and subscriptions

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, you agree to first contact us to seek informal resolution.

15.2 Arbitration

Any unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ghost Buddy regarding the Service.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

19. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

By using Ghost Buddy, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them.
